Seattle I Board Governance Dialogue

March 22, 2018
Seattle, WA

Member Price: Complimentary

Please join us for a board governance dialogue breakfast on Thursday, March 22, 2018, presented by Deloitte. Our discussion will focus on culture in the organization and in the boardroom. We’ll explore the board’s role in establishing and monitoring a healthy culture and how culture influence corporate compliance, as well as the percentage of female and other diverse candidates in the workforce.

It seems that not a day goes by without media focus on a corporate revelation, highlighting the importance of inclusion. Often the question is, “Where was the board?”

Tonie Leatherberry, principal, Risk and Financial Advisory Services, Deloitte & Touche LLP; president of the Deloitte Foundation; and former Deloitte Consulting board member, will be joined by Patricia Bedient. Patricia serves as lead independent director for Alaska Air Group and on the board of directors for Suncor Energy and Park Hotels and Resorts. Our speakers will reflect on the board’s role as stewards of an organization’s culture and lead a discussion on achieving an informed level of oversight of this important off-balance sheet asset.

Space is limited to NACD members - public company directors.
