Innovation is here. Technological advancements are coming faster than ever, and with them come potential business disruptors. From AI and robotics to wearables, blockchain, and social/demographic shifts, we will review innovations and trends from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). We’ll address the implications of these breakthrough inventions on the boardroom and how directors need to be thinking about strategies, risks, and creating shareholder value in an environment of lightning-fast innovation and change.
Erin Essenmacher from NACD National had a front row seat at this year’s CES and has met with numerous boards about how they are responding to technological changes. She will showcase the latest trends and lead a discussion about what you can do to prepare your board and company to address these rapidly approaching disruptions.
This program is for NACD Fellows only and is a great opportunity to not only learn about the latest innovations but also network with and hear from some of the most committed and informed board members in the Northwest Chapter.
In the meantime, learn more about innovation and disruption by reading NACD CEO Peter Gleason’s blog post, Disruption or Distraction? Focused Oversight in the Age of Innovation.Speakers Venue
